End of the journey! The trip through the Catskill mountains was lovely, not crowded, beautiful scenery. We see lots of poverty in the small towns with run down houses, businesses closed... The trip through Hartford, CN was NOT fun - we made a poor choice to go through the town rather than the freeway. West Hartford was like a trip to a third world country - unusual driving habits, poor roads, run down houses, a stop light every 1/4 mile... Finally into New London and another ferry ride over to Long Island and then it's an easy 20 mile drive back home. 9371 miles (15081 km) for Billy and about 4000 miles (6400 km) for Ann. Billy traveled through New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montano, North Dakoto, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New York.
